My Story

I graduated from the University of Providence in Montana in 2014 and have dedicated my professional career towards supporting and advocating for others. My background includes working for Voices of Hope (part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline); Child Protective Specialist for the state of Montana; Mobile Crisis Response Team for the state of Nevada; Community Behavioral Health Agency counselor; and within Higher Education. I opened my private practice, Ripple Effect Counseling, LLC, on January 15, 2021 after witnessing the impact COVD-19 had on our mental health care system.  I have since dove into professional and personal development to be the best version of myself in order to create a positive Ripple Effect in this world.

My Counseling Philosophy

Each one of us is as unique as our fingerprint and most of us ask ourselves what type of imprint we are creating. Your life story is significant and filled with joys, sorrows, love, heartbreak, triumphs, and setbacks. You are the expert and author of your story and I view counseling as a professional editor. Counseling often brings forth positive Ripple Effects in your thoughts, relationships, goals, motivations, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize a variety of tools, based on your individual personality, situation, and need. Everyone is unique and everyone deserves their own personalized approach to therapy. My role is to provide clinically relevant and honest feedback, unconditional support, genuine empathy, and expertise in the field of counseling. My focus is to provide a safe, confidential, and ethical environment, so you feel comfortable enough to share your story and supported enough to receive honest feedback. I will help you review the significant chapters of your life and encourage you as you continue to write your next. I believe with the right support, we can heal from our past, grow from our strength, embrace the things we cannot change, and experience joy and laughter along the way. You are the only person to have your exact story and I am honored for you to share it.

My Mission

Ripple Effect Counseling is committed to providing a confidential, ethical, calming, and supportive place for individuals to make positive Ripple Effects in their lives, their families, and communities.
